We work with worker’s compensation through single referral authorizations. We are also in-network with the following insurance companies:

  • VA – Community Care – requires prior authorization
  • Blue Shield ***
  • Cigna
  • HealthPartners
  • Multiplan

Due to many different plans, we can not guarantee your particular plan covers treatments. Call or email to inquire about a benefit and eligibility check.

*** We cannot bill some Blue Shield plans due to their requirement to contract with the middle-party administrator, ASH.

Anthem Blue Cross: We can bill some Anthem Blue Cross plans, but for the majority, we provide Superbills for members to submit their claims for deductible credit.

Worker’s Compensation
All referrals must be sent directly from the claims adjuster or case manager; we do not work with middle-man companies like One-Call.

Unfortunately, we are unable to bill Medicare for services. They do not allow a licensed acupuncturist to submit claims, only MDs or NPs at this time (backward logic, but nothing we can do about it alone).

We can bill some supplemental plans that cover beyond Medicare benefits.

Other PPOs
We directly bill some uncontracted PPO insurance plans if out-of-network providers and acupuncture services are included. We will supply you with a Superbill for plans we cannot bill to file claims on your behalf.

Sliding Scale
We cannot offer a sliding scale and bill insurance companies simultaneously.
Call or email to verify the benefits and eligibility of your insurance plan.

Regarding any insurance plan associated with American Specialty Health, we cannot bill that plan as an in-network or out-of-network provider.
