Due to a large number of different plans, we can not guarantee your particular plan covers treatments without verification. Call or email to inquire about a benefit and eligibility check.
Unfortunately, Medicare does not yet cover acupuncture. We hope this will change soon!
We directly bill PPO insurance plans if acupuncture is a covered benefit. We do not contract with all companies or those requiring a middleman to handle claims. The reason for this is the low flat rates that do not cover consultation/evaluation time for new or existing patients. Evaluations are necessary for proper treatment.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sliding scale and bill insurance companies at the same time.
Call or email to verify the benefits and eligibility of your insurance plan.
If you found us through American Specialty Health, or your “PPO” requires the provider to be enrolled with ASH, we are no longer contracted. American Specialty Health is a middleman company that was extremely difficult to work with and denied all claims after a patients first few visits for being unnecessary.
